Super Bowl

Dear Brantley~

Nana and Papa were in town taking care of Jaxon so Nucle Jeremy and Aunt Tara could go away for the weekend. They came to our church this morning and sat with you and Daddy and me. You got hungry as soon as Pastor James started talking, though, so I had to get up and leave to feed you in lobby. After church we all went to eat at Cracker Barrel in North Little Rock (and Connor and Andrew Taylor), and then we went home to hang out until the Super Bowl. I went out for a jog midday, and I was greeted by Jax driving his police car around when I got back.

I walked in to find you and Daddy curled up together...

Then you and I curled up and watched the Super Bowl together while Daddy and Connor left to take Andrew home.

I know... so many pictures of you almost the exact same. But I want to cherish every single facial expression and movement. I can't help but post a ton of different ones, even if they're only slightly different.

Daddy grilled some hot wings when he got back... the perfect accompaniment to the Super Bowl. I'm sorry you aren't old enough to enjoy them. I'm sure he'll fix them for you someday. Because I have a feeling you'll grow up to be a sports nut, I'll go ahead and let you know that your very first Super Bowl was between the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers. The Ravens won 34-31. Beyonce was the half-time show performer, and she rocked it! And you were so precious through the whole thing... well, the part you were awake for. :-)

I Love You So Much!!!

Asleep in Papa's Arms

Dear Brantley~

Nana and Papa came down today to keep Jax for the weekend so Nucle Jeremy and Aunt Tara could go away for a few days. I cooked spaghetti and meatballs for everyone, so Nana, Papa, and Jax came down to eat dinner with us. Nana held you while I ate, and then Papa took you to rock you to sleep. They adore their time with you. You will never know how much you are truly loved.

Look how safe you are in your Papa's arms. :-)

Here are some pics of Daddy feeding you and burping you. You don't like to be burped. Every time we try to sit you up to burp you, you start crying and trying to throw your body back so we'll give you more bottle. Lol! You're so cute!

You have such a good daddy! He takes such good care of you, and he loves every second he spends with you! I am so blessed to have both of you in my life!

I Love You!!

Another Answered Prayer

Dear Brantley~

Daddy and I got up this morning to go to a consignment event called Duck Duck Goose at the State Fairgrounds in Little Rock. First I have to say, you were so good!! Everybody we saw had a fit over how cute you are. We got you several cute outfits, a bathtub, two new slings, a carseat base for Daddy's truck, four outfits for Connor, and a new cover for your carseat all for only $104! We couldn't believe it! And it's all in really good shape... some brand new with the tags. Apparently you like the new slings. Look how cute you are wrapped up in mine:

The doctor's office called today. Of course, I had been sick at my stomach worrying about the results of your tests. I've felt better since the women's Overcome conference at NLC since I felt a peace about everything there, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't at all concerned.
ALL TESTS CAME BACK GOOD!!!!!!!!!!
We feel so much better!! You are officially a healthy little guy! I cried, held you, and kissed you for the longest time!

Daddy and Nucle Jeremy stood outside our house visiting for a little while, and I had to get a picture of how cute they were in their Red Wolves attire. :-) Too bad we didn't have one of your Red Wolves outfits on you so you could have gotten in the picture with them. :-)

Daddy's grilling for us tonight. (Which means I don't have to cook!!! Woohoo!!) Isn't he cute in his Red Wolves shirt and Razorback apron?!? A true Arkansan... supportive of both state teams!

Obviously by looking at the picture I have some house cleaning to do. It's so hard, though, because I don't want to be away from you long enough to clean. I love you SO stinkin much!!!!
